The latest After Sea event brought together members, partners, and stakeholders of the Ocean Autonomy Cluster for an afternoon of presentations and networking.
Held at Trondheim Maritime Center on April 1, 2025, the event provided a valuable forum for participants to connect and explore the latest developments in ocean autonomy.

Frode Halvorsen shared updates on Testination and Trondheim Fjord’s testing infrastructure, while Linda Cathrine Hald presented ESA BIC’s support for space-tech startups. Vegard Saur introduced the FI Ocean Space Incubator and its advisory services, and the MIDAS initiative highlighted human capabilities in future ocean operations.
The event also welcomed new members to the cluster. Inventas, Computas, Poseidon, and Fugro were introduced, with representatives Mads Martinussen, Marit Gartland, Ragnhild Pedersen, and Jan Erik Nordangshol presenting their latest projects and innovations.

The event wrapped up with informal networking over pizza and drinks, reinforcing Ocean Autonomy Cluster’s role as a hub for collaboration and innovation. After Sea once again proved to be a key meeting point for the ocean autonomy community.
