Skarv Technologies is our new cluster member!

Skarv Technologies AS was founded in 2019 by four PhDs from the Applied Underwater Robotics Laboratory at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Skarv Technologies delivers software solutions for autonomous robotic systems operating in the marine environment, specializing in applications that require a high degree of self-dependence and robustness.

– Our goal is to create mission critical software to operate, scale, and optimize data collection for single vehicles and robotic fleets. Our ambition is to offer market leading autonomy products and solutions for the next generation of intelligent underwater robotic systems, says CTO and co-founder Petter Norgren.

The Skarv team has a long track-record within the field of underwater autonomy, having deployed and tested a wide range of methods for adaptive mission execution, such as targeted sampling in the open ocean or autonomous missions under Arctic sea ice. Building on this experience, we are currently working on a wide range of underwater robotic applications, such as: target and coverage mapping for deep ocean
exploration, pipeline tracking and classification, as well as autonomous intervention activities in aquaculture installations.

We welcome Skarv Technologies to the cluster, and look forward to the cooperation!
