Expanding on its well-established SYNAPSIS integrated navigation system, Anschütz is developing IMO-compliant navigation assistance systems and autonomous navigation solutions. These include automated track and speed control, collision avoidance, and real-time remote monitoring. Their solutions have been successfully tested with international customers and in research initiatives such as the CAPTN Initiative.

“We see enormous potential in the field of maritime autonomy and want to help shape its development,” says Martin Richter, Director Marketing & Communications. “Joining Ocean Autonomy Cluster gives us the opportunity to exchange ideas and expertise with some of the most innovative actors in this field.”

Driving innovation in autonomous navigation

Anschütz aims to develop certifiable solutions for precise and safe autonomous navigation and command systems, building on their certified integrated navigation technology. As a member of Ocean Autonomy Cluster, the company will contribute decades of operational expertise in integrated navigation systems, as well as valuable experience from testing autonomous navigation in complex maritime environments such as the busy Kiel Fjord in Germany.
