We would like to thank all our members and partners for a good year of cooperation. It has been, and still is, a demanding situation for many firms. Therefore, we are proud and impressed over what the cluster’s members have achieved in 2020.
Even though 2021 has been Ocean Autonomy Clusters first year, the cluster has had a good year. The pandemic has proven that autonomy is more relevant than ever before. Such as reducing human contact and carry out operations without or with reduced human involvement.
In 2020, we have spent a lot of time establishing the cluster, and finding projects together or between members. In the future, we will see more results related to this work. The most visible result in the short term may be the potential in and around Nyhavna in Trondheim. Here, everything is set up for Trondheim city and the region to take advantage of the area, the potential, and the knowledge of ocean space autonomy.
We hope that we soon will be able to meet and collaborate as usual. We look forward to 2021 and we are ready for new exciting projects and opportunities. With this, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
