The technology has among other things a great potential in offering inspections and reparations without the expert physically present. To give us an insight in this, we invited two people from Headspin and Breach VR to talk about it in a webinar. Text in Norwegian: Headspin er et kommunikasjonsbyrå i Trondheim, som driver med rådgivning og produksjon innen film, animasjon, content, web, apps og VR/AR. Morten Fiskvik, CEO i Headspin, ga i første omgang en introduksjon av begrepene VR (virtual reality), AR (augmentet reality) og MR (mixed reality), og hvordan hver enkelt brukes. Headspin er i gang med flere samarbeidsprosjekt med kunder som Helsport og Telia, og har i forkant av hvert prosjekt en samtale med kunden for å avdekke behov. – Viktige ting å tenke på: Er det VR som er løsningen på problemet, eller er det bare en morsom ting å ha? Det er viktig at man går grundig gjennom hva man skal bruke det til, samtidig som man bestemmer hvem som er målgruppe, og hvordan det skal distribueres og vises. Det er viktig å stille gode spørsmål i forkant, for å ta de riktige valgene. Innhold er viktigst!, sier Morten. Andre del av webinaret ble presentert av Marius Thorvaldsen, en av gründerne i Breach VR. Selskapet utfører forskning og utvikling (FoU) for VR og andre relaterte XR-teknologier. De utvikler programvareløsninger for norske og internasjonale kunder, bygger simulering og visualisering, samt driver egeninitiert FoU-virksomhet. Et konsept de fokuserer mye på nå er «virtuelle tvillinger». En virtuell tvilling skal redusere avstand mellom operatører og maskiner, og muliggjøre samhandling. Konseptet forutsetter at objektet finnes både i den virkelige verden og virtuelt. – Vi har stor tro på at VR er en moden teknologi som kan brukes til mye forskjellig, og vi ønsker gjerne å bidra til å utvikle spennende programvareløsninger for behovene som dukker opp, sier Marius. - The technology has among other things a great potential in offering inspections and reparations without the expert physically present. To give us an insight in this, we invited two people from Headspin and Breach VR to talk about it in a webinar. Text in Norwegian: Headspin er et kommunikasjonsbyrå i Trondheim, som driver med rådgivning og produksjon innen film, animasjon, content, web, apps og VR/AR. Morten Fiskvik, CEO i Headspin, ga i første omgang en introduksjon av begrepene VR (virtual reality), AR (augmentet reality) og MR (mixed reality), og hvordan hver enkelt brukes. Headspin er i gang med flere samarbeidsprosjekt med kunder som Helsport og Telia, og har i forkant av hvert prosjekt en samtale med kunden for å avdekke behov. – Viktige ting å tenke på: Er det VR som er løsningen på problemet, eller er det bare en morsom ting å ha?
