We welcome NTNU Vortex to the cluster!

Vortex NTNU is an independent student organization at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. The team is composed of students from different engineering disciplines from bachelor and master’s degree programs. Each year up until 2019 they have conceived, designed, and built an ROV (A remotely operated vehicle) from scratch to compete in the MATE international ROV competition.

This year they developed as an organization and made their first autonomous vehicle (AUV) and are now seeking to entering new competition and face different challenges to push their organizational boundaries. They dive headfirst into this new challenge and are eager to improve their skills in engineering, teamwork and development of autonomous systems.

With a passion for science and technology, they provide an ideal opportunity for ambitious students to explore and develop their talents and skills in a collaborative undertaking. And have demonstrated that they can deliver a complex and integrated product in the demanding environment associated with underwater competition.

We look forward to the cooperation!
