Well over 90 people attended the event. Autonomous vessels developed in Norway are present all over the world. In a few years, Norwegian autonomous vessels will sail on all the seven seas, says Eirik Hovstein, head of the governing council for the Ocean Autonomy Cluster and COO at Maritime Robotics. – The ocean is Norway’s version of Silicon Valley. We have to acknowledge our global position and use our competitive advantage to develop revolutionary technologies and solutions, says Director of NTNU AMOS (Centre for Autonomous Marine Operations and Systems), Professor Asgeir J. Sørensen.
