## Digifjord -

## Den digitale Trondheimsfjorden

### Prosjektperiode: 2021 - 2022

Å teste ny teknologi kan være tidkrevende og kostbart. Virtuelle testarenaer åpner nye muligheter for mer effektiv uttesting. 

Digifjord-prosjektet utvikler en digital plattform for testing og verifisering av autonome havteknologier. Prosjektet omfatter flere disipliner, inkludert design (produkt-, tjeneste- og brukerdesign), kybernetikk, spillutvikling og marin engineering.

Digifjord skal skape ny kunnskap om hvordan lett tilgjengelig 3D-teknologi, åpne data, fotogrammetri og virtuelle modeller kan brukes til simulering og tidlig testing av autonome fartøy og operasjoner i havrommet. Målet er økt effektivitet og reduserte kostnader for tidligfasetesting og verifisering av autonome systemer for maritime applikasjoner.
