Kickoff: Ocean Autonomy Cluster

06/02

09:00-16:00

Clarion Hotel & Congress at Brattørkaia 1, Trondheim

To celebrate the formation of the Ocean Autonomy Cluster, we invite everyone interested in the possibilities of autonomous technologies and solutions to a kickoff event in Trondheim Thursday, February 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A world-leading maritime autonomy environment is located in Trondheim and Trøndelag, which has given life to a number of innovative companies, research projects and international commercialization of autonomous solutions.

The Ocean Autonomy Cluster aims to promote the transition from conventional to autonomous solutions in ocean space. The cluster seeks to strengthen Norway’s international position in the field by uniting key actors, and by developing world-leading autonomous solutions. Together, we will make the pioneering work within ocean autonomy as valuable to Norway as the technological development in oil and gas has been so far.

Now, Trøndelag has a unique opportunity to be at the forefront in establishing new markets and value chains based on autonomy. The kickoff will give insight to opportunities and challenges from various market segments, such as oil an gas, aquaculture, maritime and public procurement.

It will also be possible to give input on the cluster’s strategies and plan of action for 2020.

  • Date: Thursday, February 6. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Location: Clarion Hotel & Congress at Brattørkaia 1, Trondheim
