Njord Robotics develops autonomous underwater cleaning drones for land-based fish farming.

The company has now been granted 280 000 NOK.

– This money will help us further in our development of the drones, says CEO of Njord Robotics, Vidar Melstveit.

The money was granted by Støtte- og Forskningsfond for Næringslivet i Trondheim (Support and research fund for business in Trondhjem).

– We thank the fund for the support, and encourage other start-up companies in Trondheim to apply, says Melstveit.

Njord Robotics became a member and the Ocean Autonomy Cluster earlier this year.

The startup has its origin in NTNU School of Entrepreneurship, and the team consists of Henning Seeberg Stenersen (CTO), Marcus Langseth Nickelsen (COO) and Vidar Melstveit (CEO).
