The event provided valuable insights into the field of autonomy and marine technology, highlighting career opportunities and cutting-edge innovations. The event kicked off with an introduction by Frode Halvorsen, who presented Ocean Autonomy Cluster and the MIDAS project. His presentation set the stage for an evening of inspiring talks from industry leaders. Bernt Schjetne from OceanTech Innovation AS shared his expertise on autonomous maritime technology, giving students a glimpse into the latest advancements in the field. Additionally, Ola Vanni Flaata and Patrick Sheehan informed attendees about the new premises for Vortex NTNU and Njord NTNU at Nyhavna, fostering further engagement between students and industry.
